A little while ago in high summer me and some family and friends went exploring upstream into the canyon lands in our kayaks and odd assorted floats , I did a little Rockhounding and we spited bald eagles baby coyotes and even swam with a family of otters ! it was a good day and a good look around at the summer cannons of " The Green River " Putah Creek , up where the bullfrogs are still calling and the rope swings still hang . this....this is California.
