Naked Day with the Band

This is a promo from the infamous last minute re-brand of the "Barenaked Ladies' Day". This spot ran the week or so before the actual day. A team of people had been working on the whole campaign. Rotoing, compositing, etc. We had shot the band members on green screen and had probably 10 -12 spots, multiple line-ups, ID's etc. All Branded with "Naked Day". It was the theme for the day.
A lot of the backgrounds are are from IXL (I think).
Anyway- Thursday rolls around before the Friday delivery of everything so that it can be aired on Saturday morning and someone in the "Standards/Legal" dept. makes the call that we can't use the word "naked".
So, after a crazy 24 hours of "all hands on deck" - we had to redesign the logo (obviously), then replace it in every single element that we had already produced this included a lot of rendering... which in those days was a major factor. The machines were a fraction of the speed of what we're working on these days.
It was a crazy time. Good times. ha!
