how to replace carbon brushes in Beko washing machine WMI71441

i decided to make this video because i have not found anything on the net as detailed as this all in one place and for my washing machine.
fyi, my washing machine wouldn't spin at all to begin with, i took the back panel off and just turned the drum and motor by hand, i was making it up as i went along,
then when i turned the machine on and put it on spin it started to turn, but there was a spluttering noise, the spin never gained momentum, it sped up a bit then slowed, it was like it was loosing power intermittently.
there were also flashes / sparks coming from the motor.
when you are putting the brushes back on, put the screws in them before you press the brush against the motor that way means you do not have to balance the screws as well as the brushes and the screwdriver
