Although the forthcoming retro features the first Air Jordan‘s inaugural “Black Toe” arrangement, its shimmering, metallic detailing has been inspired by space flight. A women’s-exclusive, the pair nods to the future of extraterrestrial exploration, as well as of the NIKE, Inc. subsidiary’s next 37 years. Midfoot and collar panels, just as profile swooshes, allow for the “Metallic Silver” that takes over the toe box and overlays across the heel to revel in the spotlight. One of the more anticipated sneaker releases of this week is the women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 High “Silver Toe,” and in order to ensure that pairs are going female sneaker fans, Sneakersnstuff is switching things up for its launch.

For the first time in the Sweden-born retailer’s history, it will be making this sneaker drop exclusive to women during the initial hours of this Friday’s scheduled launch. In addition, a female DJ will be playing a set in-store during the hours of 12-4 p.m. while pre-packaged donuts will also be provided to fans coming to purchase their pairs.

For fans who won’t be able to make it out to Sneakersnstuff, the women’s exclusive “Silver Toe” Air Jordan 1 High is also releasing on SNKRS and at select Jordan Brand retailers this Friday. The shoe will come with a $170 price tag.

From the array of releases that have already touched down, we can surmise that Jordan Brand's mantra for 2021 is 'go hard, or go home'. So far this year, we've received a slew of leaks, tasty AJ5s, heaps of Air Jordan 1s, and a few classic comebacks. Back at it again, we've got another heater women's-exclusive colourway Air Jordan 1 dubbed the 'Silver Toe'.

Word first started circulating about this iteration way back in May last year, when it was speculatively being called the 'Metallic Silver'. However, info straight from Jordan Brand later revealed it is actually known as the 'Silver Toe'.

Using the Air Jordan 1 High silhouette, the colour combo consists of three tones: black, white and 'Metallic Silver'. According to SNKRS, these joints are meant to be a twist on the 'Gold Toe' pair that made serious waves in 2018. Continuing with the shimmery vibe, crinkled silver leather has been wrapped around the heel and placed on the toe box. The white base makes way for black overlays and Swoosh.

The Air Jordan 1 'Silver Toe' was originally meant to release on February 12, but that's now been pushed back to February 20.
