Joe Amabile has always been a fan of the Ford Mustang, a love that dates far back to the 1964 New York World's Fair. And there it was: A ‘65 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback GT, displayed on a rotating platform at Ford’s Magic Skyway Ride.

Years later, he and the Amabile family found a similar year model to the one Joe saw at the World's Fair, meeting the following criteria on Joe's check list: it had to be a fastback with a V8 engine, coupled to a four-speed manual transmission. While the original owner attempted a full restoration, the Amabile family did not waiver and committed to restoring the Mustang, along with painting the exterior Rangoon Red, and finished it in 2014. From there, the Amabile family took the Mustang to as many car shows in their spare time, winning numerous awards across the nation.

Presently, the Amabile family still have the Rangoon Red Mustang in their possession, and it remains a member of the family for the years to come.
