This is a question I get a lot - can a red light mask replace Botox injections, really?

Honestly, no. But they’re great complimentary therapies. Red light masks work by stimulating your fibroblasts (the collagen-producing cells in the dermis) to pump out more collagen. The result: smoother surface, fewer FINE lines, and smaller pore appearance. But the ability to reduce true deep wrinkles: very small.

Botox works by paralyzing the muscles injected. No muscle movement = no wrinkles formed with facial expressions or at rest. It does nothing to stimulate collagen production, which is why I like to combine the two of them.

So no, a mask isn’t going to give you the same results at reducing wrinkles as going under the needle (temporarily) will. There’s no current comparison. But together they can give your face a big refresh.
