St. Michaels and Easton | cutest secret places in Maryland

Exploring the historic towns of Saint Michaels and Easton located in the state of Maryland's Eastern Shore - an increasingly popular destination by the locals and out of towners. Saint Michaels derives its name from the Episcopal Parish established there in 1677. Rich in history and proud of its nickname as “the town that fooled the British” in the War of 1812, Saint Michaels is also known, of course, for its Maryland crabs, the season of which runs April through November. The town is very walkable, and has beautiful and charming Victorian style homes and buildings. Plenty of shopping opportunities in local shops and getting some local products. Many great restaurants with great views of the cute town, perfect for people watching, and also many restaurants that are right on the water with amazing waterviews and to check out all the boats and yachts parked on the marina.

This is a great place for history buffs, people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, be somewhere where you can relax and enjoy the sights, enjoy amazing antique shops, organic produce and products, and so many art galleries.

First Stop "EASTON":
1. Visited a local farm called Cottingham Farm

1. Boat cruise on the Miles River

3. Walk around Saint Michaels, and getting some ice-cream at "Justine's Ice-cream"
