RIDING A BIKE FOR THE FIRST TIME | DREAM COME TRUE | ADAPTIVE BIKE | MONSTER WHEELS

Landon has been wanting and ready to ride a bike for a long time. He can pedal like a champ but has a hard time balancing making it impossible for him to ride without someone holding him up. Up until now, he either rides in the bike trailer or ride a tricycle type toy when our family goes on bike rides.

Recently he tried out a few adaptive bikes at the National Ability Center and the Now I Can foundation and could not get enough of it! When we looked into it, the bikes were thousands of dollars.

We found out about an opportunity to get on a list to possibly get a bike at Shriner’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

About a month ago we made the trip for our first appointment. Today we made our second trip up there to be evaluated for a bike. Little did we know that we would go home TODAYwith a set of wheels and pedals that would make his dreams a reality. His very first bike at 8 years old. He has waited for this day for a long time and we could not be more grateful.
