Mordhau Highlands New Map Overview + Skirmish Gameplay | Patch 20 update

Mordhau Highlands map is the newest map to be added into Mordhau. The Patch 20 addition is for deathmatch and skirmish modes. Highlands features a flat, fenced-in field where player go head to head in team fights where there are no obstacles standing in their way.

The Mordhau Patch 20 Highlands addition follows on the heels of the previous two deathmatch-friendly maps. In the patch notes (linked below), the developers promise that bigger maps are in the works as well.

"Don't worry," the developer says in the patch notes, "we've got bigger maps in the works too, but more on that another time!" So that's promising for those of us (like me) who have been waiting for a new Frontlines map since....FEITORIA. So it's longover due. Remember, Castello is invasion-only for now.

Other notable changes in Mordhau Patch 20 include some notable nerfs to horses, executioner's sword, eveningstar and engineer walls. Two new skins were added in for the Kite and Heater shields (one each) and a new T2 helmet is available for a pretty penny. Check the linked patchnotes for a full rundown of all the changes.
