First attempt at applying a stucco finish using Mondo Davies SK2. The first few mixtures were a bit of trial and error, sometimes too watery and other times too thick. I had to try a couple of times to get it just right. The recommended coating application is 1 to 3 coats, but I ended up doing 4 coats because I sanded too much on the third one, and the raw plastering underneath was visible.

For the first coatings, I used a putty knife, but it didn't really bring out the texture because the material was so thin that it would bend, and the pressure just made the mixture spread too much.

For those who are trying this for the first time or beginners, don't be afraid to give it a shot; you'll eventually get it right. My advice is to be consistent with your mixture, especially when covering a whole wall. Use a measuring bucket and always apply with a clean putty knife! :D
