PLASTI DIP vs Rustoleum VINYL WRAP - C8 Corvette Hack

Well, for those that have been asking, I’m back to working on the C8.

I have several C8 rebody designs so I need to make a mold of my C8 hood so I can make duplicates to modify.

The hood has Paint Protection Film on it and I don’t want to damage it.

I clay barred the hood, wiped on ceramic wax, applied normal wax, put semi-permanent mold release on, sprayed on several coats of PVA.

To further protect the surface, I tested 3 different vinyl rattlecan sprays.
