One of the most common problems in close mic drum recordings is bleed from other instruments. When triggering samples, it can be difficult to avoid having the bleed from other instruments cause false triggers. In this video I show you how some simple routing and the suppress feature in Steven Slate’s Trigger 2 plugin can make it easy to avoid false triggers when using samples.
