There is also a Mary Anning Rocks collection of fossils to see, that she won as a job lot, helping fund the Mary Anning statue in Lyme Regis. She has come all the way to Lyme Regis from America to see the statue of Mary Anning! Well done Anya and Evie with the Mary Anning Rocks project it has finally come to fruition. Well done to all of us at the team of Mary Anning Rocks. Well done to the "Anning Army" of supporters. I recommend wearing safety glasses and sturdy rubber gloves when hammering the right little rocks. Remember the cliffs are dangerous and liable to fall suddenly and without warning. Keep away from the dangerous cliffs, the best fossils are washed out onto the beaches at low tide, by the sea's actions. Look out for the slippery seaweed on the ledges and rocks.
