How fast will you credit score go up after a hard inquiry? In this video I show how long it takes for your credit score to recover from a single hard inquiry. I had taken a mortgage refinance and that dropped my credit score by about 10 points. It took about three months for it to bounce back with no other changes. This should give some insight into how much a hard inquiry will effect excellent credit or how quickly you can increase your credit score if it's not so hot.
