ARMENIAN LIFE: Beautiful winter drive to Areni

We drive to Areni on a snowy winter's day in January. The conditions are a little treacherous, but the scenery is spectacular.

We commence our journey from our home near the Kievyan Bridge in Yerevan, through Charbakh district, then onto the main highway to Iran. Our first port of call is Areni Lodge: https://arenilodge.com where we call in to see our friends, Len and Armine. From there we drive to the picturesque village of Aghavnadzor to pick up our friend. This village is simply amazing and so surprising.

This video is all about the journey, not the destination. However, in our next video we will show you the completed renovation project on the first of three houses (where the refugee family of 8 is currently living).
