Route 40: Go Cornwall: 530 (WJ65BYW) ADL E40D/ ADL Enviro400

After a double-bill of B7TLs, it's time now for a small ADL interlude prior to the boisterous Bristols and loud Leylands that are due to come. So have some Euro 6 Enviro400 action with former Plymouth 530.

New in 2015, WJ65BYW was new to Plymouth Citybus and was based at their main Milehouse garage in an all-over "Yellow Flash" livery for routes in the town centre. 2021 saw the bus pass down to Cornwall where it is allocated to their outstation at Cornwall Airport new Newquay.

Our journey today is on route 40, which runs from Truro Bus Station to Redruth, Tesco via Malabar Road, Royal Cornwall Hospital, Threemilestone, Chacewater, Crofthandy, Carharrack, St Day & Redruth. With today's journey comprising one of the few double-deck operated school journeys.

530 is powered by a Euro 6 Cummins ISB6.7 engine coupled to a ZF EcoLife 6HP1203B 6-speed automatic gearbox. So hope you enjoy.
