Tokata Audiovisual, mini-documentary about part of the underground music scene in Santiago de Chile, with an international audiovisual block, April 11, 2025, at Hangar Subterraneo. Produced by Vladimir Muñoz (Jesucrisis), in collaboration with Productora Mutante , Productora Audiovisual www.hacemostuvideo.cl) IN SPANISH WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES
As in the old original scene in Chile, where music, performance, theater and painting, audiovisual material mixed with ideas and politics, but also with “popular and class/ underground sentiment… Far from those who look down their noses at real people doing real things, in fact closer to
the squatter movements and countercultural collectives…. The idea of organizing a benefit concert for a colleague who had an accident in Santiago de Chile arises.
But the desire was to also incorporate an audiovisual block. With this in mind, Vladimir Muñoz (Jesucrisis), offered up two mini-documentaries and a video clip produced by Jesucrisis (under the direction of the audiovisuals cited in the credits) that complement and capture the very spirit and creative energy of the bands and their following throughout.
Vladimir produced this full “Audiovisual Tokata” while he was in Pittsburgh, PA, United States, and with the help of the production company Productorre Mutante, and under the cameras of the audiovisual production company Elephant Gonorrhea.
This unique collaboration made it possible to project the audiovisual material and make a dynamic record of what is indeed the Chilean underground scene. A presentation of bands of excellent level, and an enthusiastic audience— both important parts of the movement that, although made invisible by the “official media,” resists with a spirited attitude and a lot of talent to share.

Como en la antigua escena original de Chile, donde la música, la performance, el teatro y la pintura, el material audiovisual se mezclaba con ideas y política, pero también con sentimientos populares y de clase/underground... Lejos de quienes menosprecian a la gente real haciendo cosas reales, de hecho, más cerca de los movimientos okupantes y los colectivos contraculturales... Surge la idea de organizar un concierto benéfico para un colega que sufrió un accidente en Santiago de Chile.
Pero el deseo era incorporar también un bloque audiovisual.
Con esto en mente, Vladimir Muñoz (Jesucrisis) presentó dos minidocumentales y un videoclip producidos por Jesucrisis (bajo la dirección de los audiovisuales citados en los créditos) que complementan y capturan el espíritu y la energía creativa de la obra.
Vladimir produjo esta "Tokata Audiovisual" completa mientras se encontraba en Pittsburgh, Pensilvania, Estados Unidos, con la ayuda de la productora Productorre Mutante y bajo las cámaras de la productora audiovisual Elephant Gonorrhea.
Esta colaboración única permitió proyectar el material audiovisual y crear un registro dinámico. De lo que es, en efecto, la escena underground chilena. Una presentación de bandas de excelente nivel y un público entusiasta, ambos elementos importantes del movimiento que, aunque invisibilizado por los medios oficiales, resiste con entusiasmo y mucho talento para compartir.
