On Saturday I met with former Warrant Officer Gyanraj Rai, and a number of Gurkha veterans and their families, with Stephen Morgan MP, to discuss the problems faced by Gurkha pensioners in Reading and across the southern counties. Some Gurkha veterans still rely on housing benefit and pension credits to survive - the Government must address this issue.
