NaNoWriMo Write-Together-a-Thon with guest author C.L. Clark

Join NaNoWriMo and special guest author C.L. Clark for a writing together livestream on November 1. Get a behind-the-scenes look at the author's process... then start writing! An optional prompt will be provided but the most important thing is to just get those Day 1 NaNoWriMo words down.

Writing prompt: Think about your character and what their defining quality is. Then think of the exact opposite. Write a scene showing your character demonstrating the OPPOSITE quality. (For example, if your character's defining trait is that they're kind, what happens when they're mean to someone? Why do they act that way? What does it bring out in them?) This will bring depth to your character and may end up surprising you!

C.L. Clark is a BFA award-winning editor and Ignyte award winning-writer, and the author of The Unbroken and The Faithless, in the Magic of the Lost trilogy. She graduated from Indiana University’s creative writing MFA and was a 2012 Lambda Literary Fellow. She’s been a personal trainer, an English teacher, and an editor, and is some combination thereof as she travels the world. When she’s not writing or working, she's trying not to throw her kettlebells through the walls.
