ASUS vs LENOVO: 11.6" Touch Screen "Black Friday" laptops reviewed

This is a review of the ASUS's X200CA 11.6" Touch Screen Ultraportable Laptop (Model: X200CA-HCL1104G) and Lenovo's S210 11.6" Touch Screen Ultraportable Laptop (Model: 59387503)

The X200CA was a doorbuster on Black Friday at Best Buy, and the Lenovo was also on sale.

For the money either one is a good option. I found the ASUS to be a better value, afterall these are value ultraportables. If you aren't looking for a good value then by all means go buy a macbook :)

It was disappointing to hear that you can't upgrade the ASUS's ram. I plan on putting a 8GB stick and a SSD in the Lenovo and perhaps upgrading to a wifi / bluetooth combo card I have laying around. Last year you could get a 8GB stick for well under $40, this year it seems you have to be spending about $65. That almost makes it not worth doing.
