Ys I & II Chronicles: Old-School Innovation that Still Feels Fresh

After playing Ys Origin, I had to check out where it all began. Here's my thoughts on Ys I and II.

Developed by Nihon Falcom, Ys I & II Chronicles is an updated version of Ys I & II Complete, itself a remake of the first two Ys games. It was originally released in Japan for Windows in 2001 and later came to PSP, iOS, and Android.
