Tom Ford Rose Garden Collection - Rose De Chine, Rose D’Amalfi & Rose De Russie

My quick overview of the latest Tom Ford Private Blend perfumes - the Rose Garden Collection.

Rose De Chine - Top note is Chinese Peony; middle note is Rose; base notes are Myrrh and Labdanum.

Rose De Russie - Top note is White Pepper; middle note is Rose; base notes are Woody Notes and Leather.

Rose D’Amalfi Top notes are Pink Pepper, Indian Mandarin and Bergamot; middle note is Rose; base notes are Almond and Heliotrope.

About me - I'm Claire and I'm in my early 40s, I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / incence. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am extremely averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that at have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery in indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays, Zoologist and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.
