MOM OF 8 DRIVES HERSELF TO THE ER IN HORRIBLE PAIN

Well that was horrible. I’ve had 6 unmedicated births and 3 kidney stones-and that ovary pain was right up there with those two on the pain meter. I would say the kidney stones are worse. The birthing pain can be managed and I could control my response to it. And i knew it was going to end. Kidney stones are relentless and even when a cyst ruptures it seems like it’s almost like when an eardrum finally ruptures and it’s relieving because the pressure is finally released. I wonder if that’s how this was in my torqued off ovary. She was maaaaaadddd. I figured it would go away but I needed the good medicine to be able to function-and my insurance changed to a better plan, so it’s almost like I treated myself going there instead of toughing it out with OTC ibuprofen and Tylenol. Ya feel me? Do I sound absurd? It feels that way. I’m all good now. It’s still sensitive and a little sore but at least I know it’s something I can manage at home. I’m head bobbing. Gotta go to sleep!! #cantstayawake#rupturedcyst#ovary
