This is an instructional video on swapping out the motor in your unit.
Please note:

This video was done with an already unplugged unit (the power cable and the internal cables connecting to the motherboard were disconnected), but please be sure to unplug all cables from the motherboard and unplug the power cable from the unit before attempting to swap your motor.

The motor featured in this video is a standard locking motor with a locking cable. Future versions of our locking motors may not have locking cables, but this wouldn't inhibit the motor swap process (it should be the same, just without the locking cable to unplug and plug in).

NOTE: The following paragraph only applies to customers who have REHANDLED their unit.

The swap process is very similar for a rehandled unit. When attaching the new motor use the four holes on the other side of the unit's base. The logo on the AutoSlide cover can be popped off and inserted into the control panel hole on the other side of the cover, essentially reversing the cover.
