In this talk Prof. Ramgopal Rao shared his journey of innovating various technological devices for Healthcare, Agriculture and Defense from his laboratory in IIT-Bombay. Early in his career at Electrical Engineering department as a Professor, Dr Rao realized the importance of interdisciplinary research. He also discussed the challenges his group faced in taking innovation to prototype to market. Prof. Rao finished his talk with suggestions that Govt. can do to make the innovation easier for young researchers and also gave advises that scientists can follow to be successful.
