Early Impression of "Ambra" by Santa Maria Novella !!

In this video I am talking about the much anticipated and recent release from the Italian house of Santa Maria Novella - "Ambra" !! While Ambra's note pyramid appears very simple, this fragrance reveals a very enjoyable depth and complexity. A warm, sultry, resinous & balsamic backdrop consisting of Amber and Myrrh is beautifully contrasted with bergamot. The fragrance is not only warm and enveloping, it has a slight floral -almost undetectable-nuance that, together with the lingering bergamot, adds a special sparkle to this warm amber fragrance. It is a perfect signature scent that is easy to reach for and lovely to wear!!! I am happy to have this in my collection; my third Santa Maria Novella fragrance as I already own L'Iris and Toabacco Toscano.
