Choi is hoping to make an impact with the show, saying, “It’s about looking at our broken system around food, especially what affects our inner cities, our land, and our environment.”

He also remembered the late Anthony Bourdain, who took his own life last year. He said, “It’s like losing a family member… we dedicate a lot of what we do to Tony.”
