This is a comparison of the raw scan VS restoration of the opening and ending animations for the anime Ikkyuu-san, a show that aired in the 70s and early 80s, animated by Toei. This comes from a 35mm print of a bonus episode/short we have that was screened as a part of Toei Manga Matsuri in 1981, which was scanned at 4K resolution. It had a good amount of dirt, dust and scratches, which were automatically and manually removed for this restoration, and the opening was also color corrected. The audio is sourced from the print itself.
