Panel leader: Dr. Ryan Ross; Vice Chancellor Student Affairs, Equity, & Inclusion, Colorado Community College System. An educator, speaker, and actualization coach, Dr. Ross is committed to access, equity, and the development of leaders. Dr. Ross will lead the conversation with these college Presidents:

Dr. Colleen Simpson; President Front Range Community College
Dr. Simpson has decades of higher education experience including enrollment management, student affairs, academic affairs, teaching and leadership. Prior to taking the helm as FRCC’s president, she served as vice president of student services and regional learning centers at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, where she oversaw multiple campuses and five regional learning centers. Previously, Colleen was a student success administrator at Bronx Community College, where she promoted access to education, student engagement, and degree completion.

Dr. Rochelle Ford; President Dillard University
Dr. Ford has a stellar reputation as a leader in higher education administration and instruction. Prior to Dillard, she served as the dean of the School of Communications at Elon University. Previously, Rochelle served for four years as professor and chair of the Public Relations Dept. at the School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She also taught as a professor for 16 years at the Howard University School of Communications. Active in both her discipline and her community, President Ford is a member of PRSA and the Arthur W. Page Society.

Dr. Cynthia Lindquist; President Cankdeska Cikana Community College
Dr. Lindquist was recruited to come home by elders of the Spirit Lake Dakota Tribe to be President of Cankdeska Cikana (Little Hoop) Community College in 2003. In her 20 years as President, Cynthia has quadrupled the physical campus of CCCC, and doubled enrollment and graduation. Under her leadership, CCCC Head Start has it’s own campus with a 40,000 sq. ft. facility on 35 acres of tribal land serving up to 220 children. She serves on the North Dakota Ethics Commission, the American Indian Higher Education Consortium, and the American Indian College Fund.

Sandra J. Doran JD; President Bay Path University
Sandra Doran began her tenure at Bay Path in 2020 with the goal of of empowering undergraduate women and graduate women and men to become leaders in their careers and communities. Prior to Bay Path, she served as President of Salem Academy and College, the country’s oldest women’s academy (founded in 1722), where she successfully implemented a plan for the future focused on innovative student learning experiences. Previously, Sandra served as the President of American College of Education, an online doctoral institution.
