Digimine is a 21st century mining laboratory hosted by the Wits Mining Institute. M. Ahsan Mahboob heads up this innovative space, where both nationally and internationally developed digital technologies are put into practise. Mahboob tells us more about the facilities available at Digimine and how the work that they do creates a distance between mine workers and the risks of working below ground.
