TRIP REPORT | Aeroitalia ATR 72-600 | FCO-AOI | XZ2215

This Aeroitalia flight from Rome to Ancona turned into kind of an interesting experience with just 7 passengers onboard. With 68 seats on this ATR, that means the load factor was roughly 10%... surely that's the lowest load factor I've ever experienced! And what about you? What was the emptiest flight you've ever been on?

Aside from that, the flight went rather smoothly - we arrived ahead of schedule, the cabin was pretty nice, and the crew were friendly. Although I wouldn't have minded changing seats during the flight, we all had to stay in our assigned ones for weight and balance reasons. Interestingly, no English announcements were made on this flight, and while I can somehow understand this as most passengers on these flights are locals, it would probably have been best to make them. After all, there were a few foreigners on this flight who did not seem to speak Italian.

By the way, does the tail of our aircraft seem familiar to you? Well, as it turns out, the aircraft previously flew for Avianca, and the livery on the tail has remained unchanged.
