ASFAT and Istanbul Naval Shipyard: PN MILGEM corvettes and Hisar-class OPV

Interview with the CEO of ASFAT, Esad Akgün, on the premises of Istanbul Naval Shipyard, a facility owned by the Turkish Navy.

Mr. Akgün introduces ASFAT and answer our questions:
on the current shipbuilding programs (PN MILGEM for Pakistan Navy and Hisar-class OPV for Turkish Navy),

Created just 5 years ago, ASFAT (Military Factory and Shipyard Management) is a Turkish state-owned defense company. Placed under the jurisdiction of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, ASFAT manages the facilities and capabilities of the 27 ordnance factories and 3 public naval shipyards to provide design, manufacture, maintenance, sustainment, and training for the global defense market.
