Season 645: Wuv, Twu Wuv...

For this season, a song written by the late, great Dave Van Ronk.
I met Dave when I was 16 - I interviewed him for my high school newspaper, when he was playing at a Bar here in Schenectady. The next time I ran into him, about 10 years later, he remembered me.

This song is one he wrote in 1981, but didn't record until 1985, on the album "Going Back to Brooklyn".

In the mid 190s, I asked him how I could get permission to perform his songs, and he told me that I had his permission to play anything that he had written, but if I make money on it, other than busking, he'd expect a cut.

So, in honor of Dave and Melissa's 24th Wedding Anniversary, and with Dave Van Ronk's permission, I present "Another Time Or Place".
