As you see in the video I didn't remove the wheels of the motor as shown in the above instructions, not sure why you would need to do this..? I was able to just cut the metal strip and pull it out.
Also black and grey wires go to one side of the motor, red and orange go to the other side.

Model is a Britannia Pacific Plasser & Theurer 07 Tamper.
