In this video I restore a Yates-American W-80 bench grinder that was built in the late 1930's. These W models are very rare. The grinder weighs over 90 lbs. New Timken bearings and a new USA made capicitor were installed. NOS Norton and Sioux USA made wheels were also installed. I decided to eliminate the lighted Delta guards which were not original to the machine. The paint is Rustoleum Forest Green textured which closely matches the factory dark green color.
