To mark World Youth Skills Day on July 15, Generation Unlimited (GenU) is launching a new Executive Report: Pathways to Prosperity: Solutions for Youth Skills and Livelihoods. The report brings together insights from across the GenU public, private, and youth partnership to surface solutions for one of the most pressing development challenges of our time: securing sustainable livelihoods for the world’s largest-ever youth cohort.

This YouthForesight webinar will feature panelists and speakers from across the GenU partnership who will share their insights and experiences, in line with the findings from the Report. The webinar will highlight the urgent need to align learning systems with labour market demands, remove structural barriers—especially for young women—and ensure youth are not left behind by rapidly advancing technology and global shifts. The session will also explore the central Calls to Action outlined in the report, stressing the importance of youth co-leadership, multisectoral alignment, and innovative financing to scale meaningful, long-term change. From empowering youth-led entrepreneurship and investing in localised, inclusive approaches to generating better evidence and building stronger, responsive ecosystems, the webinar will highlight that supporting the transition from learning to earning is a collective responsibility.
