Make It With Momo: The Perfect Sailor Moon Satin Choker Tutorial

Описание к видео Make It With Momo: The Perfect Sailor Moon Satin Choker Tutorial

Newly re-uploaded and now named "Make It With Momo", in this video, I show you how to sew a satin ribbon choker for Sailor Moon cosplays, but this can also be used for comic book characters, Disney princesses, any other cosplay, or even as just a cute fashion DIY! I recommend using medium weight fabrics such as a cotton broadcloth, poplin, satin, medium weight knit, etc. You can adjust the choker to be thinner or wider also. While I do include this pattern in my Magical Girl Accessories Pattern Pack (Pattern 1330) it is simple enough to figure out by just using a ruler and measuring tape!

It is highly recomended that for non-stretch fabrics, you cut on the bias (the 45 degree angle of the fabric's length and width), but it isn't always necessary. Some patterns might prevent you from angling the fabric grain in any direction, and that's okay, this will still work! If you plan to use a stretchy fabric, I recommend the DOGS, or "Direction Of Greatest Stretch", to run parallel with the length of your choker, such that it comfortably flexes around your neck.
