Groundwater Resilience to Climate Extremes/Change in Tropical Africa

Описание к видео Groundwater Resilience to Climate Extremes/Change in Tropical Africa

Richard Taylor discusses linkages between rainfall extremes related to ENSO and episodic groundwater recharge, and how amplification of rainfall extremes under climate change may increase groundwater resources in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Richard Taylor is Professor of Hydrogeology in the Department of Geography at University College London. His research focuses on climate impacts on groundwater resources and developing resilient, equitable and sustainable groundwater resources in tropical Africa and South Asia.
