I was raised by a single mother in low-income housing, growing up in the hood without a roadmap for what life was supposed to look like. My father was incarcerated, and for a long time I felt unsure of where I fit or what I was meant to do.

Hair wasn’t a plan — but it became the thing that grounded me. Over time, it gave me structure, confidence, and a career that changed my life. What started as survival slowly turned into purpose.

From the Hood to Hair is an autobiographical podcast for now. It’s a space for honest storytelling and reflection. In the future, the vision is to open this platform up to conversations with guests and shared experiences — but it starts here.
