I know it's a pain in the ass to watch the whole 2 hours of the original speed, so I decided to speed it up. Due to laziness none of the station names were lengthened so you might have to pause for a bit. Sorry for that.

Effective April 8th, GO Transit introduced a series of service changes, including a new route from Hamilton to Kitchener/Waterloo. Initially named 17, it departs from Hamilton GO Centre Zone B and the University of Waterloo Terminal Platform 6C every hour on weekdays. This route provides a direct travel solution between Hamilton, Guelph and Waterloo, which you have to go through Mississauga with a double travelling time. Many drivers reported optimistic data on the first day through the radio and an opinion for adding weekend service. GO Transit also advertises this route as a university connecter as it connects 4 post-secondary institutions (5 if you count Conestoga College Waterloo Campus which is a 10-minute walk from Wilfrid Laurier U).

Permission for filming was granted from the driver of the 1700 trip, which departed Hamilton GO Centre 5 minutes late due to some confusion about the new route. We eventually pull into the University of Waterloo 3 minutes early.
