Today I’m riding north across the Faroe Islands with one goal: reach the northernmost point of Viðoy. I start on Eysturoy, crossing narrow coastal roads and windy mountain passes before entering the long tunnel toward Borðoy. From Klaksvík I continue island after island, stopping at viewpoints, watching the sheep, and discovering how wild the wind becomes the further north I ride.
Somewhere between Kunoy and Borðoy the gusts hit hard and my Royal Enfield Himalayan gets pushed to the ground, a real reminder of how unpredictable Faroese weather can be. After a quiet lunch break I keep going, riding along fjords, passing fishing farms, and following dramatic cliffs all the way to the very end of the archipelago.
Reaching Viðareiði and finally stepping onto Viðoy, the last island of the day, feels like a perfect end to this Faroe Islands motorcycle journey.
