TwoFold - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA
TwoFold is a powerhouse, a tornado of music for the mind. The long and short of it is: they are heavy - rawk seriousness!
The original style of melodic and heavy songwriting combined with the energetic "in your face" performance will drill the ears of any fan of modern music.
Based out of Oklahoma City, TwoFold has blown through much of the Midwest area, including taking the stage at the 2011 Rocklahoma party.
Although only playing for less than two years as a group, these talents have taken the center of the Nation by storm.
TwoFold:
Brad Deason - Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar
Matt Holinsworth - Drums
Avery Robison - Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals
Jack Hahmor - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals

Further flamboyant descriptions about the band, its likes and influences, what they feel about various issues, dark secrets about favorite foods could be imparted here but this is a song - and the proof is in the pudding. It is also a performance - a moment in musical history.
Advice: turn the resolution on your monitors to the max.
This is real reality, raw stuff. Unrehearsed, unscripted, unedited, unexpected.
Even if you were there, you weren't this there.
+ +
Once upon a time, Johnny Depp and Jimmy Kimmel lobbed stink bombs at the birthplace of a particular artist, but soon discovered the artist lacked appreciation for their particular brand of bullying. The artist sent some serious peace and love right back at them - from other victims of those "celeb" attacks. The victims got International status as a result. Karma. Good karma.
What became one project soon became another. Well, that is sometimes the alchemical nature of existence. Hence, this "film lab" which serves as an example as to how a band can achieve a pretty cool video on the cheap - with an inexpensive minicamcorder coupled with the great, free video editor YouTube/Google provides - which is extraordinarily nice of them.
This also serves as the (not-so-secret) film lab for several continually unfolding projects by the 501(c)3 non-profit - Society of The Common Denominator.
All works are done free of charge and are not monetized or ad-laden. Cool karma, peace and love - forever.
Note about Xerado: this is unrehearsed footage from an ambush encounter, caught on existential walkabout - shot for use by the band and for purposes of historical documentation. Xerado is an award-winning artist, his paintings and other art having been shown in museums, art institutes and galleries around the globe.
Sometimes, he does film/video. For free. For fun.
Art historical references are apparent in Xerado films - the cropped nightlife of Degas; colorist tendencies of Matisse and Gauguin; the expressionistic brushstroke qualities of lenswork evoking memories of the exuberance of Kees van Dongen or Willem de Kooning. Robust characterization and a painter's sense of composition are hallmarks of Xerado's films.
Bands have come to realize that it is something special to have a famous artist do a portrait of a performance.
Xerado devised this style of filming in the 80's when MTV was just an infant. If you think you've seen camera work like this before, you might well have, it is industry standard now, and remains an homage to the original techniques employed by this esteemed, but extremely understated, phantom artist and visionary.
