"When I started taking votes for the 'Best of the '90s' feature I noticed a lot of little kids were calling to vote for anything 2Pac. I had the feeling they were doing so just because it was him, and didn't really know all the CDs that were nominated. As a result, i made it a tie with what I felt was a better choice, Dr. Dre/The Chronic. It wasn't my personal favorite of all the nominees, but there was no denying how much that disc changed the game when it dropped, and how dominant it was."-MC
