Описание к видео Dry Salt Roasted Peanuts & Fryums | Far Far | Ramakra | Boongra | Famous Healthy Indian Street Food

It's amazing to see the Mobile Indian Street Food Cart / Stall, dry roasting the Far Far (Ramakra) and Peanuts (Khari Sing) - maybe you had always thought they can only be deep fried.

It's only salt / masala in the hot pan.

Far far is a popular Indian snack food composed of potato starch and brightly coloured sago. The recipe ingredients may also contain tapioca (cassava and wheat flour)

Far-far puff up instantly when deep fried or dry roasted, they can be eaten either as a snack or served like a popadum alongside a meal.

They are produced in a wide variety of colours and shapes such as wheels, stars, hollow tubes & squares.

If you're wondering what the taste and texture is like, the only similar snack I can compare it with here in the UK is Walkers Quavers crisps.

Many thanks to mobile street vendor and hawker Mr Satvir Bhai. He also makes Popcorn, Black Chickpeas, using the same method.

Video recorded in Navsari & Bardoli.
