Allegations of bribery have been levelled against officials in Andhra Pradesh over a power project purchase. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has declined to comment, stating they need to study the report before drawing conclusions. The YSRCP, who were in power during the alleged bribe case, deny any direct deals with the Adani group. The solar deal, they claim, was signed with a government body. The BJP is charging at the opposition, stating these allegations are in opposition-ruled states. The TDP and YSRCP are yet to fully respond.
