Kanso Stories - Lakshya Shokeen

Lakshya, an astounding cricket player from St. Thomas school in Dwarka, is now living a normal life. When Lakshya was a year old, he was diagnosed with hearing loss. They initially got him hearing aids but realized they had limited benefits. Just like any other mother, Lakshya’s mother also wanted the best for her child and hence pinned her hopes onto getting his first Cochlear implant when he was 3. He got his second implant at the age of 9. Lakshya uses N6 (Nucleus 6) on one ear & Kanso for another, enabling him to have a wireless experience. We at Cochlear promote early intervention and it is great to watch our implantees live a fulfilling life which they have envisioned for themselves. #KansoStories
