I walked to Rua Sargento Acrísio Santana 'Rua dos Correios' in the center of #jacarei, which is closed to vehicles on Saturdays for pedestrian traffic, turning it into a boardwalk during business hours, and then walked to Rua Dr. Lucio Malta to show the Municipal Market, better known as the 'Mercadão de Jacareí'.
Jacareí is a municipality in the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba and Litoral Norte, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is located east of the state capital, about 82 km away from it. The municipality is formed by the headquarters and the districts of Parque Meia Lua and São Silvestre de Jacareí.
