One of the most highly anticipated clashes in recent times, star 2 mile chasers Shishkin and Energumene finally clashed at Ascot for the Grade 1 SBK Clarence House Chase.

After Willie Mullins' Energumene pulled out of the Arkle at the Cheltenham Festival in 2021, this was the first time he had met Nicky Henderson's Shishkin, with the former making the trip over from Ireland.
