The Round Top Marimba Duo performed Evan Jose's arrangement of Rudiger Pawassar's Sculpture in Wood in the finals of the Great Plains International Marimba Competition. The duo adopted the name "Round Top" because they performed together in the Festival Orchestra in Round Top, TX while preparing for the Great Plains Competition. Both members of the duo are Music Performance majors, Dana Dominguez at the University of Texas in Austin and Evan Jose at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
