Come pack with me for New Jersey for the weekend and see how I am packing for a weekend trip in a backpack. Even though I pack less when we fly, I am shocked that I am only bringing a personal item since I tend to overpack at times and I plan to buy stuff while I am out there. I was able to pack everything into my backpack and my travel purse.
